Hmm, I've had my heart set on Immunology more than the other specialties to date, so I suppose it's kind of accurate.

YES! Alvin the pee-doc! WIN.

DAMN IT TOLD ME TO BE A NURSE.

Edit: Ok I was joking, here's my real list. I don't really think it's so accurate, but I haven't done anything clinical (except talk to a LOT of old people) so I'll do it again later and see how I go then.

Willy are you going to Convention? I signed up for the academic program, don't have any friends going to social (not the kind I'd like to drink with at least).

Interested in infectious diseases or emergency at the moment, but because of lack of experience this doesn't really work for me and other non med student ppl. Not sure what the others encompass.

Ok I'm not a med student but I will act like one for the next 30 seconds:

Rank
Specialty
Score
1
nuclear med
47
2
preventive med
44
3
infectious disease
44
4
aerospace med
43
5
neurology
43

Seems to be true and what I would learn towards if I did do medicine from an outsiders perspective.

i have a feeling that everybody (well, almost everyone anyway) goes through a "paediatrics would so cool" stage somewhere around the beginning... lots of people i've talked to seem to have mentioned it, unless it was those damn imaginary people again...

I'm the opposite. People keep saying "you'd do great with paeds" and I'm like "f--k off kids I want to give cigarettes to babies".

naw i disagree with ure diagnosis.. .. there isnt a R-R interval to measure
and may indicate a MI... no/low QRS .. depending on the lead.. alternatively it may be a sound file..

umm did u ever see skywalker's 12 lead ECG last yr? tat was crazy..

Aerospace med is understanding the effects of high pressures/ high velocities/high acceleration on the body.. alot of exercise and space physiology.. its for working with NASA or an airline from wat im told..
