in 1st yr i found a basic anatomy and physiology book... consider martini or tortora then u read guyton & hall and ganong after :D

btw.. i love robbins pathology.. its the best!!

my favourite would have to be davies...becauseits easy to understand and tells you what you need to know...but it could be a bit simple at times thats why i borrowed guyton to pore over before the exams...

I agree with pointdetxter, Robbins path has been really useful to get the ball rolling in most of my assignments and random bits of homework so far... then again, it's one of only 3 textbooks I bought, so I'd want to be using it.

How accurate is this? the only 1 of the 4 i've actually considered b4 is plastic surgery....

If i did medicine i would most likely go into respiratory medicine, follow in my fathers amazing footsteps...if not the other one i have always wanted to do is infectious diseases.

Ooh careful with that... is it the ONLY reason? Because the whole "I want to do what daddy does" element seems to be frowned upon in interviews.

Of course, you might have absolutely no interest in taking up medicine and are just making the point that this would be your preference. Also, who is your father and what does he do? Thankee!
