Legal Practice is decreasing because of demand, many are consultants, take up other professions, assist Governemnts, International Bodies, Companies, Business and Commerce.

Yes, but not as Barristers and Solicitors, maybe in consultancy or applying their knowledge in other areas.

so what is the demand for solicoters and barristers, if i practice law, do u think there will be a steady yet constant demand for these services? if so, what areas of law are in the greatest demand?

Tort is going down, becuase of Bob Carr's new laws, meaning it is harder to practice. Many people then move into other areas or they sack paralegals (harder to do law student experience) as they have more time to admin work.
