On weekends, are the faculty rooms opened? Such as the civil engineering building?

Unless you have special permission/access enabled on your student card, then nope.

afaik architecture students always have access to everything out of hours because they often need to work on projects in their labs, but I don't know if engineering does that. You would probably have been told at the start of the year if you all got special access.
