Do we have to be there for the whole lecture session?

its an informative lecture. So it is advisable to go. but meh if u cant don't worry its not that informative... but it helps you get to know ppl and make new and equally lost/bored friends

i dont think anyone bothers to go to orientation
the majority of the students population i assume will go uni on march 1st

It's probably advisable to go seeing as they explain your degree and what you'll be doing. We had a police officer come talk to us on Orientation Day.

Don't know about other degrees, but Policing has a course wide meeting twice a session as well.

Orientation is jus about, students getting locked up in their cages and you hav to listen the them sing blah blah blah and they will molest u and let u home!
