I only went for 2 days last year IIRC. There's not much point in going for any more because it's pretty much all the same shit every day. Well, the night events are sometimes pretty decent so it's good to go to most of them, but the day events are pretty ordinary.

I'm interested in joining ComSoc and EcoComp... do they have booths there too? And are the stalls there everyday?

Are a lot of the clubs going to go bankrupt about halfway through the year with the introduction of VSU, or will they just cost more?

you'll just pay slightly more for the things that you use, and you wont be paying any longer for the things you don't use. they say it'll severely cut down the amount of social events available to students, but i doubt that it's completely true - it just looked like a silly anti vsu marketing campaign to me. either way social events or not... it doesn't really affect me :p

I'm likely to be using the student discount on grounds alot, as well as join clubs and perhaps even join the soccer team so I'd pay the union fee because I'm using the services :)
