For engineering they have 2 dates of orientation days

One says
B Engineering
Where: Kingswood Campus, Bdg U, Room G.50
When: Thursday, 21st February 2008, 10:00-2:00pm

another says Orientation is beginning on the 25th

Which one is best to go and what's the difference?

Is it compulsory to attend O-week starting from 25th to 28th?

O-Week is more to do with social activities, rather than actually introducing new students to the inner workings of the degree. So it's definitely advisable to attend the Orientation on February 21st, as that is the Orientation session for your particular degree. Then you can choose to go to O-Week beginning the 25th if you want/need to take the opportunity for a tour around the campus facilities, have fun and meet other people outside of your degree, etc. etc.
