I get the basic gist of what this is all about...but what do you actually do during this week?

There are campus tours, you can sign up to cluns or societies, go to lectures about uni (difeerent subjects you can do/how to do assignments/etc), take a tour of the library, plus other things organised by the union (eg. jumping caste, BBQ's, horizontal bungy, etc).

It's basically people saying 'good on you, you chose this uni', isn't it?

hey if we start uni on the 3rd march, then wots the point of orienatation week after we have already started uni?

USYD O week is 5th-7th. Lectures start the week after, so that should be the 10th

O week at my uni starts on the 24th of Feb and goes from the Monday till the Friday then uni starts the following Monday. It's so going to be good. All I hear is you have so much fun expecially if your living on campus. Which I am.

I'm living on campus too, prob St. Andrews or Wesley college.
