I'm considering overloading next semester; has anybody had any experiences with overloading? What was it like?

(specifically asking for Engineering/Computing students but anyone can answer)

If it's unavoidable or you are overloading by choice, then you just do it.

A few weeks will be quite intense, especially if you have courses with group work.

did it last year, since i could choose like 2 electives if you plan everything out and see when assignemnts due etc and know the difficulty it is doable
some weeks will be intense but once again if carefully planning is applied its not too bad

for reference i overloaded in maths/sci/education - but the main point still stands

I've overloaded twice when I was doing engineering. It's pretty hard and is only somewhat easier if you have a lot of good mates who want to work with you assignments and study for tests together (+ sharing of resources).

If you're in first year, you're not allowed to overload, unless you've completed 48uoc iirc

It's something I for one dread, and I'd vouch for doing something in summer over overloading.

But I would stick to the opinions above over my own on this matter.
