I'm at Target - so I follow biggles' pay rates (see some posts below lol)

I worked 10 hours on Boxing Day (get payed for 9) - Sunday rate (time and half)
9 hours on the 28th (payed for 8) - double time and half
5 hours on NYD - double time and half

That's the most I've worked for a while now. I'm not getting much shifts anymore - I think it's because I'm 17 and 15 year olds are cheaper to work. Bloody shift budgets Our store has the most sales in NSW (if not, then in the top 3) so why should there be such strict budget cut-off's? The 15 year olds are crap, I work much better than them

we are the most poorly rated supermarket in town out of the 4.
I don't see why this is though, I really don't.
However, we have just been taken over by a new manager and there are about to be some promotions.
Seriously, our store is a mess, here are some problems:
-There is not one staff member working in the bakery, it seems to run itself. There is no manager, there are no staff members.
-There are two people working in Fresh Produce/Fruit and Veg
-The front end department manager is about to head off on maternity leave
-There is no Assistant Manager
-The Deli has a total of 3 permanent staff
-No staff will work on fill
-Register staff are getting lazy and pathetic and are the slowest service assistants I've ever seen.

The store is going to hell.

^Here Biggles is referring to his store against all other all Coles Myer brands.

There's a very goodreason for that, biggles. Target is a department store, not a supermarket.
