I'll be doing Futility, The Last Laugh and I forgot the other....

They dont ask us to write specifically on one poem, will they?

Hey, apprantley they can ask us for only one poem, but it is very unlikely, they will usually ask for two or three, but no more then three, i am doing anthem for doomed youth, futility, and the next war, what is your other poem?

they can ask you to compare/contrast one poem with another of your choice, so you should know each poem fairly well

you should know 2/3 poems very well so that when they ask you to contrast u have 2/3 poems that you know extremely well to use.

dulce et decorum est

My teacher says that, they sometimes have a habit of asking for a specific WO poetry, but they usually ask for Dulce et decorum Est if they do.

The Wilfred Owen poems which i'm doing is: futility, anthem for doomed youth, dulce et decorum est, the next war, the last laugh and the send off. there the ones that we have studied in class.

but what we have to do is choose 3 and analyze them.

wilfred owen .. yeh ...
iam doing the send off cause i believe its really easy to talk about ... and quite self explanitory ....
im also doing the next war ... personified death one ....

and for my third iam doing dulce et decorum est

although my teacher says to noe all of ur poems quite well .. coz they may ask you to write on one specific one ... then talk about how others refer and link back to that original one
