Depends which iron and which copper you are talking about

The strongest oxidants (oxidising agents, that is they oxidise other stuff, being reduced themselves) are at the bottom of the table. For example potassium permanganate is a very strong oxidant

yes, because it is less reactive, oxidant is something that makes the stronger metal oxidise while itself reduce
