make no mistake, P2P will never die.
If anything it just fuels everyday people to create the new 'napster' and be crowned e-hero

look, in the beginning there was Napster, Metallica shut it down.

now look how many there are.
Bit Torrent,BearShare,eDonkey,WinMX,eMule,Imesh,DC++ (good luck shutting that down),soulseek,IRC to mention a few

Shareaza was the first p2p client I've ever tried, then through peer(friends) pressure I tried Kazaa "Lite". I quickly switched back to shareaza coz it already support bit-torrent and it's just somewhat faster than kazaa. (And this happened 5 years ago XD)

I use shareaza, too, on the odd occasions it's needed. the Gnutella1/2 networks arne't that fantastic in my opinion, though -- seems everything I download comes from edonkey/mule/other-horse-variant. Still unconvinced about bittorrent... IRC is still so more reliable and easy to find what you need...

For music, I've always found soulseek (slsknet.org -- not soulseek.com or .org or anything, becuase that's someone who's making a version you've gotta buy) is good for music. Seems to always have what I'm looking for, in high quality, reasonable speeds, and an ability to download the entire song's containing folder, making getting entire albums a breeze...
