How do I become a PASS leader for Microeconomics? What is the procedure etc etc?

diane enahoro is in charge and i think she'll offer it first to students that are doing micro 2, and if the numbers arent filled up then offer it to the rest of commerce

you need a 85+ average (HD) for micro and macro

i didnt know about needing to do micro2...damn...
i never had a chance...no matter what i get in macro then...

1stly, things are uncertain with macro ><. have to wait till results come out
2ndly if they want ppl as pass leaders also taking micro2, wont that mean a lot of actuarial students will b eligible too (assuming they got the marks too!). but i bet most cant b bothered

darn it! i want my PASS group! ><

PASS is only available for the common Commerce & Economics core subjects

micro and macro
qma and qmb
acct1a and acct1b

some finance courses are lectures and tutes all at the same time. so PASS may not be required as there is greater interaction between teacher and studeent. well, thats wat i think anywayz

I think Macro and Micro pass are open only to 3rd year students with 80+ average in 1101 and 1102, I'm not sure though

Ask Bambul, he was a macro pass leader last semester

hey can MATH students who have done MATH1151 and MATH1251 be PASS leaders for QMA? Because MATH covers everything in QMA..and then some

yeah, my Micro tutor in s1 was a 2nd yr -.-

math doesn't cover everything in QMA/QMB.. for instance they covered some linear programming techniques which we did not.

hey i was in your mirco tutorial, opp wasn't a 2nd year!
he was PHD i think........but he was a postgrad and he wrote a thesis on copyright or....royalities or something like that

i heard it was around 35-40/hour
so yea..good stuff

somethin like that, but its only 2 hours a week. 1 for the actual teaching hour and one theres a meeting with all the other pass leaders
