if an iron nail is coated with a layer of H3Po4 and left to dry will it form a passivating layer?

been a while since i did it. but iirc, phosphoric acid react with metal to form an impervious complex, which is the basis of this passivation.

I think some random girl topped it (over vince mok oO!!!)
I was overall slightly disappointed in chem (especially my external)... Barely got band 6.

The H3PO4 reacts with iron to form a highly soluble tightly bonding passivating layer as iron(III) phosphate.
