Nice job there mate.

As for what questions they may ask, for Russia - Lenin's role hasn't been asked (which is a big one), Stalin's rise to power hasn't really been touched (especially reasons for his rise), whilst totalitarian based and also specifically foreign policy questions haven't been asked recently (keep in mind they changed the syllabus in 2006).

For Trotsky, first question is just narrative, either background, rise to prominence, historical context or a variation of these points. For the second part its depends, will be historiographically based as usual.

For Cold War, early crises (mainly Berlin Blockade/Airlift) haven't been asked, neither have questions on 'development of the Cold War up to 1968' (e.g. Berlin Wall, Cuban Missile Crisis, Czechoslovakia, arms/space race and the changing policies in this period i.e. containment, domino theory and peaceful co-existance). Detente probably won't be touched (as it was the Q last year), though they may ask economic and political reasons for détente or geopolitical developments: Vietnam, Sino-Soviet split, the Middle East.

Any other suggestions?

Man my lips are watering over the 2001, 2005, 2006 Russia papers, they seem the easiest out of the lot.
