here's how i did it....n it is correct !!!
(a) Dr allowance for doubtful debts 170
Cr Accounts recievable 170

(b) Bad debts expense is $ 463.20
so the entry is Dr Bad debts expense 463.20
Cr all. for doubtful debts 463.20

(c) statement of financial pos. pres is as follows
accounts recievable 34830
less: all. for doubtful debts (1393.20) 33436.80


(d) is similar 2 part (b)
the entries are : Dr Bad debts expense 2663.20
Cr all. for doubtful debts 2663.20

(e) Dr Bad debts expense 620
Cr all.for doubtful debts 620
