Paying for Accomodation at UNE (1 Viewer)

I am strongly considering going to UNE this year, but accomodation is incredibly expensive. How do most people pay for it - can one charge it to hex, or does centrelink cover as part of student support, etc?

You can only charge your course fees and the SAF to hex but a lot of students rely on youth allowance for accommodation and college fees. With both youth allowance, rent assistance and the allowance given at the start of each semester I can cover my college fees and have some left over for other things like running my car and social activities. Though what amount of youth allowance you receive depends on your parents income being below a certain threshold. Hope this helps.
