I'm trying to set up a new paypal account and there's a question in the online form, asking if I'm involved in politics, what is this question for? Is it even relevant?

Didnt have one when I did it, like 3 yrs ago, and just say no.

I think they want it to see how many politicians use it for donations maybe? or to keep money in the cloud?

It's probably for a survey most likely. I also didn't have any questions before when I signed up on paypal a few years back.
