hi guys...
if you work in one of those tutoring centres (prior, north shore, pre-uni etc), how much do u get paid?
does it depend on subject, experience or just on your age?
is it the same on weekends?

is it easy to get in?

thanks.

I'm not a teacher myself, but i heard that Prior pays pretty good and has a shortage of teachers at the moment. You should apply with them first. Their main site's here. Good luck if you're applying. :)

Prior pays $20-ish/hour for workshop/class tutors. Class teachers gets $30-ish/hour. But I think Rob only takes people were Prior students.

Actually Rob mainly manages the one in Chatswood, Murray manages the one in Bondi.

They are partners and tend to switch between the two at times... just contact whichever branch you want to apply for from what the site has shown. They are both very nice blokes that you can talk to and ask about the college.

Doens't Rob spent most of his time at Bondi and Sunday at Chatwood?

The criteria applies to both places, but Chatwood currenly have a teacher shortage. It might be easier to apply with the Chatswood one.

Yes, he taught me on Sundays last term, and that's exactly what i said in my first post about the shortage of teachers at Chatswood.

Good luck to anyone applying to be a teacher! ^0^

No.

Bondi's one is owned and managed by Rob.
Chatswood's one is managed by Murray, not sure if he owns it.

Actually Prior has been running for about 30 years starting in the mid 70's so it's all cool in terms of them being trusted. :p
