Is there any way to make a PDF document which is not copyable? including with the Ctrl+C function
EDIT: and not convertable to other formats like Word
but either not copyable or not convertable is fine too

And to answer inasero:
open the PDF file. there's a "Select Text" button (or something similar).. click on that and you can select text as you can in Word. Then copy as you copy in Word, by clickng on Edit > Copy after you've selected the text. Then in Word, click on Edit > Paste.

remember to lower the jpeg quality of the images before converting to pdf ... because it will just end up as a large ass file ...

impossible. even if you protect the document with pdf or word, i can just take screenshots, save as TIF and then OCR the image back into text.

if it's a 100 page document?
print screen and OCR 100 times..
if the page is A3 or if you want details?
set the screen to higher resolution..

if the screen is LCD and for whatever reason there's no higher resolution than 1024x768?
print screen more than 100 times and combine the pics ^_^

umm sounds impractical though...

Hmm, with cutepdf, there seems to be a lot of garbage being put through the process to get it into a pdf, (JPG > PDF)

ive got ~300 kb > ~500 kb with the process.

Am i doing something wrong, or are pdf's bloated ?

that happened to me too :(
have u tried any other program?

with me I just reduced the printing resolution but it's still larger than the original file. didn't bother trying another tool. I only need PDF conversion once or twice.

PDFs based purely on graphics do get somewhat bloated - unless you use compression options (which I don't think are avaliable in CutePDF).
