Does anyone know how to tell the difference between sex-linked or autosomal in pedigree trees?

Generally with sex-linked majority of males (if not all and only males) will be affected. That’s kinda the main difference between sex-linked and autosomal. Also in sex linked I think there can be father to daughter transmission (if dominant) or mother to son transmission (if recessive). With autosomal, there’s an equal distribution of the trait on the chart meaning an equal amount of males and females are affected.
