All I figure, is that as long as we can realise that its manufactured, we're good. How long can this Guy Sebastion last, really?

Will he be dependant on those to write songs for him?

Not going to last.

If he writes his own music because he's a music teacher or whatever you Guy supporters are talking about, trust me, a music teacher would stray from three chorded songs if he had any imput.

I prefer classical music to be "unmarketable" to 11-25 year olds, personally? Although people are forgetting, which is starting to annoy the FUCK out of me, is that classical music is "marketable" when it comes to films or concerts. It's just different areas. I prefer that classical music stays where it is, and not dominating the mainstream.

Its sad because hotness or at least coolness (and society doesnt think overweight people, or those who are 16 and are very much overweight are very cool or sexy) needs to be there in order for people to buy her music.

Its sad in that a 16 year old is going to be put through the music industry. Shes so young SHES 16!

All those who voted for her need to get out there and buy her music, otherwise she will flounder and die at such a young age.

Seriously, Australian Idol (and the entire Pop music scene) is a disgrace to humanity.

excuese me.....but when daniel san "you Raise me up" (previously sung by Josh Groban) , I didn't think it was pop music. also, anthony sang "the Prayer" which is an incredible operatic duet that requires immense talent to sing. By the way, my IQ is 120. I watch australian idol, and i think the talent on Aussie Idol this year, was alsolutely incredible.

No i don't watch pop stars.....and i hate pop music. But i loved watching casey and Hayley, sing songs by "george" and the way chanelle brought songs from the 40's back into fashion.
