lets see....

instrument and its repertoire: classical guitar: 'Fernando Sor's Theme and Variations on Mozarts Magic Flute Opus 9'

Classical Period: i'm thinking about 'Choro Da Mahna' by Slozburg

Australian Music: Phillip Haughtons 'Web'

Rock/Jazz: 'Closing In' by The Living End (great piece)

i think i've got a good mix of songs, i'm not a big fan of Australian 'Art' Music but Web is pretty cool, and it'd get me more marks than churning out 'Thunderstruck'

i've picked pieces that i'll not only enjoy playing, but the examiners will enjoy listening (trying to get a place at encore) and they are all very technical, just how i like it haha

So far i've chosen....

1) Closing In - The Living End
2) The Lemon Song - Led Zepplin

Please don't accuse me of stealing your song KevinCooper Closing In was the first song I chose back in December 2003 and I agree with you it is a "great peice". Best of Luck with it.

I'm still deciding on another two songs but i might also do a composition - I better hurry up and decide though because performance time will roll around very quickly.

class of '03 here and i chose:

Instrument and Its Repertoire: Midnight - Joe Satriani
Rock Music: Remember - Disturbed

mainly due to me throwing my shoulder out and not being able to play for more than 30 minutes without severe pain
