HI,
I'm studying Skrzynecki's Immigrant Chronicles and preparing for an upcoming assessment. Going through possible questions and responses and came across "the journey is more important than the destination" and things along those lines of journey's lead to greater understanding.
If this came up in an essay, is there a way to relate Skrzynecki's poems to greater understanding? I'm struggling to see the connection.
What are your thoughts?

its not about relating skrzynecki's poems to greater understanding.

the 'process' is linking textual techniques (his poems) --> effect --> how this relates to journeys --> how these techniques collaborate to provide for you a greater understanding/the journey is more important than the destination

sometimes the most important part of the journey is what you gat out of it. Its results/effects give new understandings and insights. rather than the physical journey itself.

if you take into account the quote "its not the destination that matters, but the journey itself".. what you learn is the largest component. the journey is the catalyst for a greater appreciation of the destination.
