my friend says she's gotten her pharmacy offer for usyd...

nah, but one of my mates got an email from mechanical engineering @ USYD, saying if he kept it as 1st preference, he will definitely be accepted (ie he has recieved the offer)

I highly doubt it, Pharmacy offers always come out during Main Round, at first.
Although I will check my UAC Offers screen tomorrow, lol

I was at the 1.30pm one, and there was quite a few people there.

i went to the 11:30 one, people kept coming in after the lecture started. The amount was a big difference to the nutrition and dietetics lecture, there were heaps of empty seats.
damn that will probably decrease my chances of getting in lol...its scary indeed

Yeah, lots of people kept walking in after the lecture I went to started...
I couldn't help but notice that the majority were Asians (no offence intended).

i know... i dont mean to offend either, but i felt seriously outnumbered.
I come from an area where there is practically no asians. There was only like 3 asians in my entire school, so sydney's multiculturalism is a real change for me!!

i wonder if this is also the case for pharm @ CSU

i know there won't be as much asians there as USYD of course, but would there still be a majority or would all the asians hav went to usyd already ahaha

i dunno, but there was a serious australian deficit in this pharmacy lecture, but im not used to it so it is all pretty strange 2 me lol

i initially had it in my preference but then decided not to since i don't think i'll be able to afford the living accomodation and i prefer the city lifestyle better lol

Syd uni is quiete close to my home, so travel isnt a real issue

but if you do make it into syd, then i would suggest going there as it does has an outstanding reputation for pharm
