Hi Guys :)

I need help in constructing a Phillips curve reflecting our current inflation and unemployment rates, cos I am having abit of difficulty in doing so :S

I know what it is but I am having trouble in actually constructing it

Please help and include a diagram + small explanation

I don't get it. Do you want you show NAIRU on the Phillips curve? Either way, I don't think there is a graph showing NAIRU.

My mistake. I meant construct the Phillips Curve reflecting our current inflation rate.

"A graph showing NAIRU" could essentially be a phillips curve with a vertical line at the NAIRU for the economy, say 5% for Australia.

Theoretically, the curve shows that the unemployment rate will always return to the NAIRU.

Which part of constructing it are you having trouble with OP?

Isn't it just a curved line? :L

Im so sorry that I made my question unclear.

I was having trouble with constructing one which accurately reflects today's current unemployment rate and inflation rate; also incorporating NAIRU in a long run Phillips Curve

But I managed to do it in the end with the help of a friend :)
