Good news is you don't need to pass the exam to pass the course, and most people will have at least 30/40 for the in-semester assessments, which leaves a mark of 33% or so in the exam to pass :)

If i remember my software lecturer correctly, there is a 14% maximum for Distinctions or above, I think for any other grades there is no maximum

No quota, huh? Maybe the physics staff will be nice, and pass us all. Yes, maybe...

Of course, it could also mean that the give distinctions to 14% and fail the other 86%. XD

If only I was doing fundamentals. Their paper is so nice!!

Actually that 14% is a maximum. There is no minimum. :p

They could fail the entire course if no one's work was up to standard.

I can't seem to remember anything I try to learn for physics, except for wave stuff, which is pretty bad, because waves is the least-covered topic.

:(

*prepares to fail*

That was a relaxing exam :)

I was suprised at the amount of people who stuffed up the last bit of 12. How hard is it to solve an exponential.

I fucked up the last part of q12, and realised how stupid I was the second I left the exam because it was just so bleedingly obvious to set cos(wt) to 1. :S

how unoriginal was that paper? half the questions were taken from the phys textbook exercises and some from past papers.

eg problem 5.39 from university phys, 10.75 from same book.
