I agree, even I managed to answer 75-80 marks of it and I have no clue about PHYS1901.

It sure was...if only i had focused a little more on thermodynamic processes. That fridge/ice question was my main trouble.

Also, did anyone else think allocating 10 marks to that adding ice to water question was overkill?

Haha, I chose to read up on one bit and it happened to be the fridge and sink of ice part of the textbook :D.
And acmilan, I dont recall correctly, but i think its something like that. Could do it again but i'm a bit lazy. Yeah and 10 marks was overkill, it only takes about 4 or 5 lines.
Hmm, and has q12 been in the past exams for the last 3 years now or so?

Yeah if anything it will increase the temperature of the room, due to the extra work the motor will do in trying to cool it the fridge thanks to the thermostat.
