For my first HSC assessment task, I am required to "Compose a representation of a journey (this may be fictitious). This can be a drawing model, mime, etc.."

Does anyone have any suggestions of what I could possibly do for this representation?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as it is due at the beginning of Term 1, 2005

I also have to do a 10 minute speech detailing the journey I have represented, the significance of the journey, and its link to wider concept of journeys.

No, no reference to texts necessary. Although I would love to present this through a monolgue, exactly how to do so is the problem.

Is that it? Sorry, its a very short question...
Anyway, you might like to dress up as a character from a book you read and prepare a monologue on one aspect of their journey. ie. dres up as alice from alice in wonderland and talk about falling down the hole/what you were thinking/where it will land you etc.

Significance, using the alice story:
+one thing leads to another
+Different forms of travelling
+Seems worlds apart when just a footstep away
+Purpose of a monologue

Thats all i can think of now. If you want, you can post up your ideas/work, then i can look at it for you (PM me :))
