Our Tutors
We are very selective with our tutors. Our tutors have achieved remarkable HSC results. They are also experienced mentors who have already taught students from many different schools.
The problem with large tutoring companies is that the teacher does not need to THINK at all. They are hired for their friendliness, supplied with notes to write down and worksheets to hand out. You miss out on the personal insights that an experienced state ranker can offer.
At Paragon Education, our tutors have achieved high Band 6 results and they have experience tutoring students from many different schools. Like a large company, we provide extensive resources, but these resources add on to the teacher's skills. Every day is not just another worksheet. Our teachers really teach you how to achieve excellent results, instead of reciting prepared notes. Paragon ensures high-quality teaching by getting student feedback at regular intervals.
Our Resources
1) Comprehensive notes on the whole module (like large successful coaching centres)
2) Weekly homework. Half of the weekly homework is past HSC questions, and the other half is questions that we have made up ourselves.
3) End-of-module tests to confirm what you've learnt and teach exam technique
4) Annual whole-course seminars by our best teachers to revise the fundamentals
