I do both, and it's even for both really.
I tend to bludge more in physics, but I can learn it faster.

With chemistry, I have to put a little effort in to learn the same amount I would in physics :)

As telepath(eth)ic has said, it's different for everyone.

hmmm...from my personal exp. I think physics is harder because you have to understand things..and it just seemed harder but chemistry is a lot of work and you need to learn more..but its easier..and once again its diff for everyone...

i think
chemistry - memorise the entire txtbk
physics - understand & apply

so i think chem is harder, jus cos i hve a tremendously bad memory

chem u need to apply as well as memorise!

r u good at maths?? coz that may have an influence. physics is sorta more maths based - but don't be mislead, u do small calculations in chem as well.

definately chem! physics is easy, you just have to understand it. chem is so much more work, not necessarily more harder work but heaps MORE work, which kinds makes it harder anyway

sure physics is easier (i came 5th our of 40 with no study or work all year, just listening in class), but it is also ALOT more boring i hate it and i wish i hadnt taken it

btw i do 12 units (the other 10 im coming nearly 1st in) so i can afford to be lazy just incase anyone was wondering :p:p

That's Amazing!!

I mean the fact that you can so arrogantly show off on a public forum like that. Well done!

i'd say chem is easier simply because the concepts aren't hard and you only need to learn to regurgitate your answers

It is a perk if you don't mind people disliking you. :) From the other thread:

well... lets just say that i used to phys + chem, now i only do phys. i think that was largely due to having a bad teacher, but when it came down to it i think chem was still harder.
i think the reason that i find physics easier is that there are set rules and these apply to just about everything. chem there were too many exceptions and special cases and stuff....seemed a lot to remember compared to physics where essentially it is more about understanding about how things work and you only need to remember the more general rules...
