Hi everyone,
I have my physics prelims in a week, and i'm dying. I physically almost cried over a question because I couldn't do it, but I'm also in a position where I cant drop physics for my HSC, so my only option is to do well.

So far I've been getting around the 70th percentile in my marks and i'm ranked 8/22. I need tips on how to get better PLEASE 😭. My goal is at least a low band 5.

Hey :) I'm in year 12 and I know it is difficult but you'll get through it. Perhaps check out the Scienceready website, it really helped me out with reviewing content and just explaining things differently in a way that was easier to understand. Also, have a look at acehsc or thsconline for notes and past papers. Don't overwhelm yourself but hope these resources can help. Also searching the question up can help or searching for similar questions.

With physics, there's only so much they can ask you its more your ability to identify which formulas to use or what theory knowledge you need to apply and really the only way to improve is by doing practice questions.

Is there a gap in knowledge or a gap in application?
If it's the former then make sure you understand all the concepts you've been taught
If it's the latter then you just got to do more questions and build your intuition which also ties into how well you've consolidated the content

I think I should just do continuous practice questions from past papers and see where there's a gap in knowledge or a gap in application. Thank you sm!!
