Any will do really. I have Samsung monitors although I wouldn't say they are better than any other brand.

i have the lg e2441v-bn (24"). it's good.
though i'd get an ips if i got to choose again (this one is not ips).
if 23" is nothing much different to a 24" for you then go for the lg one imo, solely due to being ips.

How would you rate it? I've heard really good things about dell, although they're not really Aesthetically pleasing.

Worth spending the 200 more?

I got it on sale, I have nothing else to compare it to so I can't really comment

Ended up getting the LG one from MSY for $169 (they bumped the price up $10 overnight) purely due to the reason that it had a DVI port plus others and not just D-Sub/HDMI. My graphics csrd only has one HDMI which is connected toy TV and doent have any D-Sub ports. From the reviews I've seen around it seems like a good monitor for the price. Hopefully it turns out alright.

I'm confused. How many of each port does your gfx card have and how many of each do the monitors have ?

My gfx has 1x DVI, 1x HDMI and 1x something else (idk what it is but my hdmi doesn't go I to it).

The LG monitor has 1x DVI, 1x D-Sub, 1x HDMI

Currently in my gfx there's the monitor connected in the DVI and the TV into the HDMI

Pretty impressed with it for the first impression, looks fine without making any calibrations.

Using an LG now. It's lasted me a long time and I really like it.
