Is it possible to pick up a subject now? I remember someone saying that as long as the first assessment hasn't passed yet, you can
Also, my college tutor was saying she was pretty sure.. Just verifying whether it's up to the school or no chance in hell

I don't think it's too late. As long as you haven't missed any assessments you should be fine. It's up to the school.

In that case, will picking Chem up now be too hard? I am willing to work hard (although I have some too many units) but yeah, I have no prior knowledge on anything Chem-ical

Isn't completion of the Preliminary Course a prerequisite?

Yes, but he/she can learn it whilst learning the HSC course. Although, I really wouldn't recommend it - Yr 12 is sorta hard enough as it is. ;)

Yeah I agree. Year 11 Chemistry forms a huge basis for Year 12 Chemistry, especially molar concepts, carbon chemisry, equations etc. Out of curiosity, why are you picking it up?

Depends on what subject it is....some subjects can be picked up with ease (I think katie_tully did PD/H/PE both Prelim and HSC in the one year).

I was only deciding whether or not to
My tuition tutor person said I have a knack for Science(Physics) and she said I should be doing Chemistry, since it scales hiiiiigh.. And although it would take a lot of work, she said I'd be able to if I tried
Pretty much, the scaling
