Hey. im doing year 11 music 2 and wondering what some good pieces for a viva voce you'd reccommend. I was thinking along the lines of gerswin. somthing bluesy.

Shit u just reminded me that I have a viva voce assignment due after the holidays

BTW you didn't tell us what instrumental type of music you wanted to do (could be a flute/violin/piano solo for all I care).

Right sorry. New to this stuff. I just got a sheet explaining how to do it so ive chosen three songs of various content.
River side by joe hisaishi (The string quartet)
Baker street by gerry referty (sax solo)
Walk this way by run dmc and aerosmith (Chorus, i love the vocals)
i choses these as they all have different musicological propertys i can expand on to fill the ten minutes i have.
