All the people I know that have tattoos (know personally) are top people.

That being said, most tattoos are awful. And Gchick, if you are likening it to what you wear... well let's just say there are a whole bunch of tattoo's from supre.

Perhaps it wasn't the best analogy, but they're somewhat similar. People buy styles of clothes to express themselves. People get tattoos and piercings to express themselves. Ergo, they're both methods of self-expression.

look i find tattoos vile but youre discreet and modest about yours so i dont really have that much of a problem but i think tattoos still need to be pathologised and that we need to cease the proledrift concerning them

If you've got a visible tattoo though people are going to see it. So I don't know why people should give a shit whether they're judged or not.

It's their decision to put it on themselves and it's other peoples decision to not hire them or think they're dumb or whatever.
