PIP awards - notification sent with return of PIP? (1 Viewer)

Is the notification for an award sent with your PIP when it's returned to your school?

My friend wrote an amazing PIP (on homosexuality if anyone's interested) and we're all intrigued about the awards...As the pips are sent back in the next few weeks we'd like to know if the notification is sent with them so she doesn't have to wait even longer to find out. thanks

My society and culture teacher told me on the side she'd hoping I'll received a prize, probably the gender or equality one.

But, I'm not sure either!

though to be fair they do produce some awesome peices

yeah admittedly hornsby owns because they are actually good hah. So many teachers have accused that school of 'helping' students with their PIPs a little too much. But I do think the students are genuinely intelligent...That girl who topped the state last year, her pip was insanely brilliant.

I'm still pissed we don't get out raw PIP mark back. I poured countless hours into that thing.

Yeah, i was pretty sure my teacher said we dont find out at all..
but she also said she will give us an estimate, cuz she has done pip marking before.
I think we should find out our marks, its only fair after all the effort that goes into them..

You can roughly estimate your mark by taking 30% of your end mark or something.

Oh well our teacher has always told us we can get the marks next year. :S lol haha I'm confused now

you dont actually get your pip mark, but you can always work it out in the end somehow. thats what my teacher said.
getting an award would be pretty cool:uhhuh:

Yeah, like I said, by taking 30% of your end mark.

Say your overall mark is 100
you can roughly guess that your PIP got 30/30, or around that.

lol no way. I'm just saying, these people are all really smart but they all do the same kind of stuff. Mine wasn't at the same calliber as these but original.

and my cross cultural component was with people aged 30 and over...
