i have left everything to the last minute
(as usual)
and i regret it
so please, please, please help me with this

my PIP is about Magazines
and how/if they are influencing
the way girls dress, think/act etc.

my cross cultral aspect is muslim and catholic teens
and i have already done the muslims
i just need the catholic girls to do my survey/questionnaire

if you have a younger sister... in the age group 14-16
that would be much more helpful
if not... just do it yourself

THANK YOU

4. What is your favourite section in the magazine? Why?
The clothes

5. Do you keep up with the fashion trends you see in magazines?
Yes/ No - most of them are ugly but I'll wear what I like.

6. Do magazines influence the way you dress?
Yes/ No - not me personally but I'm sure it influences many other teens

7. a) Do you do what magazines tell you to do, e.g. “10 Ways To Be The Coolest Girl At School.” or “Make Him Want You?”
Yes / No - I read them for fun but I don't take them seriously.

b) If so, has it ever worked?
Yes /No

8. What is your definition of a Social Group?
The group of people you sit with and hang out with at school

9. What social group do you belong to?
Popular Geeks/Nerds
Other (please specify) Our group is like the rejects because we're all people who have come from other groups that we didn't fit in with.

10. What do you think of:
a) Punks/Emos/Goths: Everyone is free to be how they want to be. They're sorta misunderstood and I couldn never seen myself as one.
b) Popular girls: There are girls who think they're popular and girls who are actually popular because theyre liked by almost all the school. The people who think theyre popular are stuck up and snobby and I dont like to have anything to do with them.
c) Sporty girls: Good on them for keeping active and staying fit. Sporty girls at our school are parts of other random groups and do sport on the side.
d) Nerds/Geeks: Are only like that because they spend more time studying than socialising. The nerdier/geekier girls at our school are all one group who still socialise together.
