Pixies 'Doolittle' tour on FasterLouder.com.au

The tour is part of the 20th Anniversary celebration of their seminal 1989 album Doolittle, which included some of the band’s biggest commercial hits, including Monkey Gone To Heaven, Here Comes Your Man and Debaser. The shows will see Pixies play all 15 tracks from the album and any related B-sides.

Sunday March 14 – Sydney, Hordern Pavilion
Thursday March 18 – Brisbane, Convention Centre
Saturday March 20 – Melbourne, Festival Hall
Wednesday March 24 – Adelaide, Thebarton Theatre
Saturday March 27 – Perth, Belvoir Amphitheatre

I got GA tickets for the 3rd Melbourne show.

Was extremely surprised at how well this sold. I mean it's Pixies and if there was any justice in the world they'd sell out stadiums, but seeing as their headlining of V Fest a couple of years ago was such a commercial flop, I was amazed when I went to buy tickets 30 minutes after they'd gone on sale and they'd already sold out two shows.

Kind of wish they would do Surfer Rosa instead of Doolittle, though. I know, I should not be ungrateful. Plus I have already had the pleasure of seeing them play at V Fest
