(a)Using ONE change model, explain how change can be managed effectively in business.

- Kurt Lewin's unfreeze-change-freeze model.
- Find the need to change and begin to steps into changing it.
- Change what is required to be changed.
- Stop changing and reinforce the change with the use of communication and champions.
- Communicating the need to change ensures that it is welcomed by all members and this is further emphasised by champions.

Do NOT write in dot points for explain questions, I'm just doing it quickly to help you.

b) Manages may outsource a neutral third party to hold confidential discussion between the employer and employee to come a agreement where both parties feel they have "won", this is becoming more and more popular in the workplace as it allows employees to feel as if they have solved it on their own and often prevents legal and industrial action.
