Hey Lee

If I remember correctly you're doing B Creative Arts. There are, however, just a few problems with your subject selection. Please don't take these as criticisms, just tryin to help :D

First Semester:
1) CUL202 has a prereq. of 15 cp and CUL100, you're only doing 14 in first semester and not doing CUL100.

2) ENGL218 has a prereq. of ENGL120, which you haven't listed.

Second Semester:
3) CUL200 also has the prereq. of CUL100, and can't be done till after CUL100 has been completed.

4) While the only prereq. for ENGL319 is ENGL218, which you listed, you still need ENGL120.

I'm not too sure how it will work in a time table, but if I may suggest an alternate subject listing (and don't be put off by the smaller number of credit points)

First Semester: 9cp
ARTS100
ENGL120
ARTS210

Second Semester: 10cp
CUL100
ARTS105
ARTS200

On top of these base units, you may want to add extra 100 level courses to suit your major (ie: if you are majoring in music, you will need MUS100 which is a prereq. for the 2nd year music units). I hope this hasn't been too daunting for you, but if you go to the following site, and punch in those units, the timetable maker should sort you out from there. Good luck and feel free to ask for any more advice (just keep in mind, I'm not an academic advisor, hence not perfect ;))

ok thanx.....only probs is- i have fulfilled all of the requirements that i had to fulfil under the heading for my subject...and where the info. is about each course- none of them say that u have to do another course b4 it! any of the courses that i've chosen are apparently fine to do without another b4 it......

Then u should look at the middle section that's got the coloured ends of pages and check each subject that you wanted to do. In your first list, a lot of them had prerequisites, which if you do the list i proposed, you will fulfil and be able to do those courses ya wanna do in later years.

Trust me, I know how annoying it is to do the basic crap, i've gotta do MUS100, something along the lines of a yr 10 basic music course, before i can take up vocal studies in 2nd year.

But yeh, just have a look at that section and check what the prereqs are for each.

if you go to pg 268 and 269 they show the creative arts courses. it says you also have to do MKTG101, so make sure you include that. I'm thinking your degree is a 3 year degree, so generally you should do all the 200s in the 2nd year and 300s in the 3rd.

so, page 268 tells you the subjects you have to have done within your 3 years, then you go to the red section and see the prerequisites for these subjects.

are your english courses the ones you are doing for interest?

well i'm doing creative writing- so i need to do 3 english courses...ENG335, ENG319, and ENG320- so do i only do them 3rd yr? is that wat ur saying??

ok...so it says that i have to have at least 72 credit points...including 42 cp 200 or above and 18 cp in 300 or aove....so does that mean that the other 12 cp should be 100 or above? including the courses that are 100 level and compulsary?

Weeeell no, it asks for a minimum of 42 cp to be above 200, meaning (in theory), a maximum of 30 cp in first year, which you won't be doing so you could probablly ballance it out at 24cp a year.

you don't live that far leanne!! i live in prestons (liverpool-casual area). it will take me around 2 hours to travel to macq ONE WAY... if i drive then it will take around an hour but i don't have a car!! :(

your lucky you can fit your timetable into 3 days. i have 5 days in semester 1. on 2 of my days, i only go in for 2 hours. what a waste!!
