Recently, My Adv English class began Creative writing. I was already having trouble in English as I feel very intimidated by those in my class. I have never had a knack for English but there are times I have gone great and really surprised myself. The problem I am facing and really have been facing for a while now is the fact that I find it extremely hard to express myself through words due to the fact that I study and love Drama. I know they have a significant connection but I find it a whole lot easier to express myself through movement than I do through words, it is just the way my mind works. I have also recently learnt that I am a kinaesthetic learner so this may be a factor. Is there anyway I can make expressing myself in words a lot easier without it affecting my Drama?

you're obviously a creative person to begin with if you love drama. you simply express yourself through a different means. have you ever tried writing in a diary? it helps you write out personal shit and learn how to express yourself without other people really knowing.
do you like reading a really good novel. i always feel that my imagination and creative juices have been stirred up when i really some really good books that are non-school texts of course.

I have tried writing in a journal, but most of the time I find them quite tedious... I am not sure why I just get sick of the fact that I cannot show my writing through movement. I know this may sound quite stupid as you may not do Drama but all it really is, is taking a texts and expressing its meaning and story through physicality, emotion, sound and focus.
I do read quite a bit of novels but I am rather picky as I have had many bad choices causing my to stay well within my comfort zone. I read purely for relaxation and pleasure which may not be the best at this point in my schooling journey.
