I am having trouble with this question.

Joanne earns a weekly wage of $540 plus commission of 12% on the value of cosmetics she sells in excess of $2000. Her total pay, P is given by the formula P = 540 + 0.12(V-200O), where V is the value of the cosmetics sold that week what was the value of the cosmetics Joanne sold if her total pay was $852?

P=540 + 0.12(V-2000)
852=540 + 0.12(V=2000)

what do i do next?

P=540 + 0.12(V-2000)
852=540 + 0.12(V=2000)

what do i do next?
Code:
P = 540 + 0.12(V-2000)
852 = 540 + 0.12(V-2000)
852 = 540 + 0.12V - 240     // Expand the brackets
852 - 540 + 240 = 0.12V     // Take over the values on the other side, making sure to switch +540 to -540 and -240 to +240
1092 = 0.12V
1092/0.12 = V
V = 4,600
Therefore, Joanne sold $4,600 worth of cosmetics. If you have any questions with what I did then just let me know ;)
