From those marks SAM shows a 68.90. Though school ranking should pull you up. But not 12+ points.

First one - I assume physics won't count :p

I'd say you'd probably get close to 80 given that you're around the middle for most of your subjects. However, MX1 will bring you down a bit so it will depend on how your externals went.

Second one - I'm not really so good with the middle ranked ones, but I'll have a go and say about 70.

No matter what anyone predicts you'll still have to wait until January when the uni offers come out. This is because of the UAI you 'need' is 83 thats from last year and they change every year with supply (i.e. number of places) and demand. So the UAI for your course could drop into the 70s or climb into the 90s, although it probably won't move that much.

its more than possible to get into 90s.....it just depends how well you and your class mates did in the exams.

Hey little miss your marks and ranks seem bad but remember your school came 30th - the sam will not give you a good indication of how you went. This is because your school performs well so a middle ranking person (i'm not sure if you are in the middle) might be the equivilent of a dux some where else. Having said that - your physics marks are very low - what was the top persons marks ? ... if you don't know that what was the top mark for the trials ?
I say this because I ranked 8/10 for physics - the person below will get a band 5/6 in the hsc - I might just miss a band 5 (silly / time errors) and the last person will get a band 3 - maybe. However, our internal marks are not in the 80s - the highest for the trial was an 72 (i got 69ish i think - with many silly errors). Basically I'm hoping for a band 5 for physics based upon my internal rank + a high band 4 / low band 5 in the exam. Basically the BOS will moderate your internal marks- what half these people are saying is silly without knowing the full details, OK.

lil miss: you would probably be near the bottom of your school, but since its ranked so highly, something in the high 70s would be around what you'll get if you perform the same in the hsc.

timobro: your ranks are reasonable, and if you dont finish in the bottom third of the state for 4u maths you should get 92+.
