It is square rooted. Essentially with the equation given, you want to sub in a large value for x (don't need to test for negative infinity) as graph is even. For example, if you sub in x = 1000, the exponential term will approach zero. Thus, 1 - (something approximate 0) = approximate 1. For square root graphs, y intercepts and horizontal asymptotes are both square rooted. Thus, the square root of 1 (which is horizontal asymptote) is just 1.
