in the creative writing section, it says for you to write a piece of creative writing
can it be a poem?
im only having it as a backup but its better then my story writing

do u guys know?

You can but don't.

Poetry is far more subjective and unless you're doing poetry for EE2 kids in high school don't really know much about writing good poetry.

I've always been told, never ever, ever, ever, ever do poetry. You are basically asking to lose marks, like Tulipa said, its too subjective and this makes it difficult to effectively get the concept of the journey across to the markers.
