u can't say that the reason why they did it is because they don't get legal representation... it seems obvious to me that aboriginals can fight court cases fairly successfully...

if an authority such as the police break the law.

they dont really have the right to stand in judgement over others breaking the law.

fair is fair.

... that's the stupidest statement ever.

1) not ALL of the police did this
2) it hasn't been proven that anything actually happened
3) there are others who make sure that people are kept accountable

ok, i already said...............if the police are innocent the abos should be charged.

-----------"they shoudl write a letter and wait etc etc.............for another authority to intervene"........................i disagree with that.
that wont be fair. when it comes to the police commmiting crimes etc......doing things wrong ....................rofl rofl............justice is never ever served....

i support justice .........that should over ride the law. the laws wrong sometimes............justice is never wrong :)

the police are guilty by association like ............do we have a rico law in australia? thats like a law.....where if ur in a gang or organisation and ppple commit crimes.....................ur all guilty..................i think thats like a criminal enterprise thing..............................

if the government wants to have bull shit ............guility by assocation laws like that.....................then..........alll police should be accountable for the actions of a few :)

also........the police were probably defending the policeman in question..........they are standing in the way of justice and therefore.........they shoulnt complain..if there in the firing line.........................its their own fault.

but until..its proven the cops did something wrong.........the abos should be charged.

The 8 that were arrested for connection with the riot were not able to get legal assistance to the island and were helf in custody.

I'm sure that the family of the person held in custody is given the right of having free legal assistance...

I think if they were better educated, not intoxicated they could of come to a more rational decision.
