hey there,
I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction concerning police duty of care during high speed pursuits? Specifically, if the driver of the vehicle being pursued is injured as a result of the pursuit, are the police liable for damages?

Thanks!

1. Your mate needs a lawyer.
2. Your mate committed (at least) two offences by running in the first place.
3. I can't see how your mate would ever get a claim up if *he* were acting unlawfully (ie by running).
4. If the insurance company won't pay for the car, then what did you expect?
