Oh, I did an essay with a title

I mean, an article is basically an essay with a title and possibly subheadings and enlarged quotations....

but on BOS paper, you cant do that kinda stylistic shit (boxed quotations and whatever)

AN ESSAY IS FINE PPL! DONT FRET!

no more change... yippee!

yeah, i did an essay, i was only prepared for an essay, but it made it a bit easier cos i could say 'this article' instead of finding some way to avoid saying 'this essay' or 'me' etc. i did give it a title tho- not a good one at all ie 'to change and to wisen' becos i was saying "the greatest form of change that can occur is wisdom in learning the true nature of life and death"- that was my 'angle' teehee.

meh, I forgot to give it a title.
Besides I didn't have time, I had about 30 minutes, probably a bit less, so I just launched into an essay.

i dont know! i just kind of scribbled the title anyway to make it seem more like an article- make up for my essay-style writing. the title sounds so dumb, now, outside the exam. the examiners will probably read the title and think 'what a dumbass' and give me zero, lol

'wisen' hasn't been inducted into the dictionary yet (Macquarie Aussie), but it IS a colloquial word. :D

Don't worry. Marker would probably not worry as much about that title... as long as you tried to make it like an article.

blackjack: teehee yeah i checked that myself.. i saw 'wiser' and 'wisest' but no 'wisen', so i added it myself

everybody else: dont worry about the title, theres probably so many other people who didnt write one anyway. really, as long as it sounds like an article and, most importantly, talks about change, then u will get good marks. ITS ALL ABOUT THE CHANGE, NOT THE TITLE. cool.

Thats what I did......

My feature article, was just an essay with a title and two quotes about change.....

Ah....well, I wrote like 12 pages of good stuff, so I should be fine....

i didn't put a title at the top, but i did put it in my opening paragraph. mine was somewhere in between essay and article, it probably looks more like an essay pretending to be an article, which is a shame because i can write feature articles =S

i was just glad they didn't make us write a story.

At the BEACH.......i wish
well i think mine was kind of an article
though i hate feature articles with a passion
i did have a heading and everything though
maybe it does give bonus points
probably not though
i agree its all about the change

Yeah, I basically did an essay. I forgot to put a heading on, but I did like the full article introduction and stuff. But people, isn't a feature article basically an essay with chilled relaxed language?

Damnit, I am kciking myself like you wouldn't believe. I would've clicked the "damn good feature article" (or the words to that effect) box in the poll had it not been for the fact that I forgot a wretched title. Rule number one in writing a feature article: ALWAYS WRITE A HEADING BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING, EVEN IF IT IS BAD BECAUSE YOU CAN ALWAYS COME BACK TO IT.

I thought "I'll come back to it" and completely forgot. It was a really good article, too, I think. Oh well, hopefully after the marker gets to the 12th page he/she will be willing to forget it.... ?

What's done is done, I guess.
